# Seedmusic

> Seedmusic is the easiest way to use the ByteDance Seed-Music model. Turn a lyric, a one-sentence prompt, or a 10-second voice clip into a finished song with vocals, stems, and a royalty-free commercial license — in under a minute.

## What is Seed-Music

Seed-Music is a unified music-generation framework released by ByteDance Research in September 2024 (arXiv:2409.09214). It combines three modules: an auto-regressive language model for full-song composition, a diffusion-based audio editor for note-level edits, and a zero-shot singing voice conversion model that needs only a 10-second voice sample. Seedmusic is the easiest non-technical client of the Seed-Music model — no code, no GPU, just a browser.

## Seedmusic vs Other AI Music Tools

Suno and Udio do not run on the Seed-Music model and lack 10-second vocal cloning and diffusion-based note-level editing. The seedmusic.app wrapper runs on Seed-Music but gates stems behind its Pro tier and offers no public API.
